About Ardgowan Hospice
For over 40 years, Ardgowan hospice has been providing exceptional care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses living in Inverclyde, supporting a community of around 80,000 people. Ardgowan Hospice provides free care and support services to over 1,000 local patients and their families each year. The hospice provides a range of services, including end-of-life care, bereavement support, carer support, an in-patient unit, home support service, and day support service, as well as helping patients return to work after an illness. Ardgowan Hospice provides patients with personalised 1:1 care and support and offers support to their families and carers from the moment of diagnosis of a life-limiting illness.
Quality of life is at the forefront of everything Ardgowan Hospice does, ensuring that patients and their families are cared for in the right way by working closely with other healthcare professionals to provide the best all-around care.
